Rule 148
Condemnation Committee
: (1) If the goods and clothes distributed for the purpose of armed police personnel have to be replaced because they are torn or damaged, the head office will form a condemnation committee to determine whether such goods are genuine or not. . Based on the report submitted by the committee after the necessary investigation, the head office and the regional store will make the admission instead.
(2) The Condemnation Committee shall consist of at least three members and the Chairman of the Committee shall be a Gazetted Officer of the Armed Police Service.
(3) The head office may hand over the work done by the Central Condemnation Committee to the regional or any other armed police office.
(4) The head office will make the final decision based on the report made by the regional or any other armed police office assigned responsibility as per sub-rule (3).
